Hi YXI friends,
Happy Friday / Triple Witching Day. The market managed to get through the FOMC unscathed. Now it just needs to survive the busiest options expiry day of the quarter.
Our signals have been risk on since mid-April, capturing the great majority of the V-shape rally. Around late-May, the human side of this service was already getting a bit twitchy - surely it won’t go straight up? surely we will get risk-off soon?
But a month later, the stock market remains in great shape. SPY is still just 2-3% off the all time high.
While my algo service is intended as an analytical tool, it would seem better marketed as a therapeutic tool. It has definitely helped me and many of our subscribers, according to their feedback, sleep better at night with risk on.
Now let’s look at our strategy returns. As we upgraded our models this week, I am going to record the returns of all of our signals from June 16 going forward. However, this week, I have also included their returns since the V1 model launch dates for comparison.
