As we approach the end of the first trading week of January, the broader macro picture appears mixed.

We see a new all-time high in the S&P 500, but that hasn’t translated to the mega-caps. Crypto is mounting a bounce, but so far not convincingly. Meanwhile, commodities are soaring.

I believe the early theme this year will be one of rotation. As liquidity improves with declining TGA, we will see more money moving between asset classes. Be prepared for all possibilities and avoid preconceived ideas about how to trade this market.
